The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Complete training on all aspects of the research study
- Conduct weekly intervention sessions with enrolled participants (virtually, by phone, or in person at DRP)
- Assist with enrolling and registering participants to the study (all participants will have been previously referred to the Detroit Recovery Project)
- Participate in weekly supervision and research team meetings
- Support research coordination by:

Connecting potential participants with study staff for enrollment

Maintaining contact with participants to schedule sessions or address concerns

Collecting questionnaire responses and other study data
Qualifications:
• At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals within the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or Behavioral Healthcare setting.
• Certified Peer Recovery Mentor (CPRM) or Certified Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC) certification through Michigan Certification Board of Professionals (MCBAP) or Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).

If neither certification can be provided, candidates must be a person in recovery with the ability to obtain one of these certifications.• A valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver’s License
• Previous experience with data entry and client scheduling is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Electronic Health/Medical Records Systems is a plus!
Compensation Range: The pay rate for this position is $18.00-22.00 per hour and is based on non- discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
